Coach Rounder is one of the accepted programs, although it differs from many electronic poker tools. Roy Rounder is a real person. (His real name is Rory Monahan.) The information we get is that he is a native of Murphysboro, Illinois – a small town about 90 miles from St. Louis, Missouri. He has finished in the money in some large poker tournaments, including a cash of $41,000 at the WSOP in 2010.
We suggest checking into some of the discussion forums about Coach Rounder and his program. Individual experiences have been quite mixed. Some say it’s “pretty good” while others say it isn’t worth much to an above-average or good player.
Unfortunately, we were not able to access to his Web site. When we used links through a couple of poker portals we were not given access to the site. You will be able to find plenty of information about Roy Rounder, though. He is recognized in the industry as a rather successful Internet marketer. So he probably does have something to say. Rounder’s ebook contains basic ring-game advice of a particular style – aggressive but a little tight. The book is not the best in the poker-advice category but it should be of some help to beginners and those who are of slightly below average skill.
